Oleg, a new Russian multi-millionaire, lives opulently in Los Angeles. It is New Year’s Eve and he is hosting a party. His younger half-brother Alex and his mother are having a good time. It’s obvious Oleg takes good care of his family. He’s in a good mood because after years of constant work he’s decided it’s time to change his life. Oleg’s lawyer arrives with bad news, his partner in Moscow wants his investment back, nervous of all the money scandals. Oleg is a major in the world of Russian business and this news is serious but he’s confident of survival - he’s been a long-term player.

The party was not the success Oleg had hoped
and something is bothering him. He calls Moscow to learn the situation
has worsened. For the first time, he senses real danger and sends his
two faithful bodyguards to take care of The next morning, Oleg enters the kitchen to find an infestation. The extermination company is called and Lisa arrives, no obvious beauty but there is something very special about her. He propositions her but is rebuffed. tied up and Alex wants to kill her, convinced she is a murderer. Realising Alex is right, Oleg confronts her but she denies it and he decides to believe her. Untying her, he dismisses everyone except Lisa, who continues fumigating. In a moment of truth, Oleg, confesses to Lisa that he’s a lonely lost man. Lisa agrees to spend the evening with him and they make love. Then Oleg hears from his lawyer that his two bodyguards have been killed and he must run for his life. Lisa agrees to drive him.

Along the coastal highway they find a deserted beach and Oleg happily relaxes. He hears his name but he doesn’t turn around. Lisa calls again, "Look at me!" He realises what is happening - she will not shoot him in the back. There is only one solution. The people who sent Lisa are merciless and Oleg knows the rules of the game - he’s made his decision...
