The Gravy Train
We board the Gravy Train in Brussels, nerve centre of the European Economic Community in Bergamot where our naive and idealistic hero, Hans, arrives to become assistant to Spearpoint, the hard-nosed insular Director of information and Culture.

Hans is astonished to find that despite his hitherto modest career at UNESCO and the United Nations, he is not only lionized by such prominent characters as the Director General of Agriculture, Villeneuve and the rich and sinister entrepreneur Milcic, but promptly seduced by the mysterious and glamorous Nadine. Is he being set up? If so, what for?

The Gravy Train Goes East
We are now in the New Europe. Eastern European countries once in Comecon are now queuing to join the European Community. One of them is Slaka, a small, imaginary Balkan country, formerly a hard-line Marxist state. Its tyrant, General Vulcani, has been overthrown and replaced by the famed dissident novelist Katya Princip. The Gravy Train Goes East is a comedy set in Brussels bringing back some of the original characters of The Gravy train.
