Set amongst the awesome beauty of the Australian Coastline, Sea Patrol is an action adventure series following twenty four sailors from every walk of life, age and temperament all crammed aboard the veteran Hammersley - a 160 ft metal hulled Naval Patrol boat…a veritable pressure cooker of emotions desires and ambitions.
The Hammersley and crew, under the leadership of the audacious CO Mike Flynn and Kate McGregor the often overbearing XCO, have to battle their way through the perilous elements of the Southern hemisphere to provide security, surveillance, protection, rescue and relief on some of the most hostile waters on earth.
Whether they are hunting down armed drug smugglers, chasing thieves or pirates; helping reckless fools, or saving illegal immigrants, their adventures serve to bring the crew together to forge deep and longstanding friendships that cross all boundaries.
