An epic tale, set against the spectacular vista of a golden wheat harvest. Resistance is the story of a rich tapestry of characters whose differences have torn them apart, but their will to survive forces them to unite.

Resistance focuses on two women- Jean Skilling, a night waitress at Red’s truckstop, and Nathalie, a wild runaway
tribal girl, who returns home from the harvest.

When martial law is declared, the arrival of soldiers in Ithaca Plains, a shanty town, sparks an already volatile situation. In the shared pain of tragedy, Jean and Natalie forge a friendship in their fight for survival.
