Her long suffering ex-boyfriend, Toby, is waiting to welcome her home after a trip to New York, but Chloe, seeking more adventure, agrees to go with new ‘amour’, commercials director Ned Dickson, to the country for a romantic weekend staying with some of his old friends. Ned drives Chloe through the night to a large, remote, shabby, country house where they are met by Gordon, the awkward, creepy, younger brother of Stan the charismatic and controlling owner of the house. Chloe finds herself the outsider in a reunion of Stan’s band, which had been successful in the mid eighties. |

Vaguely aware that she has been woken in the night by various members of the household things take a turn for the worse when Chloe suspects the following morning she has been drugged and sexually molested. Her worst fears are confirmed when she discovers one of Gordon’s videotapes showing previous assaults on other girls. Panicking her efforts to escape are foiled repeatedly by the rest of the household and it is only when she finds an unlikely ally in Teresa and the mysterious crank caller Clive that it appears she might find a way out of the increasingly horrific nightmare. |
