| When 20 year old Ben Coulter embarks upon a spontaneous evening of fun with a sexy stranger, Melanie, he doesn’t expect to wake up beside her dead body, covered in her blood and holding the murder weapon; ending the night in a police cell. All the evidence points to him. But he didn’t do it. He can’t remember all the events of the night, but he’s sure he didn’t. |
|
This is the story of Ben’s odyssey through the police, prison and legal system. It's a system where the truth is optional; where what counts is playing the game, in order to come out on top. From the start no one wants to hear Ben’s side of things. A game of cat and mouse starts as soon as he is arrested, between DCI Box, an old school policeman and Stone, Ben’s world weary, second division duty solicitor. In the middle are Ben’s parents, at sea in the system, with the certainties they held about their son turned upside down; could their son really be a murderer? |
A five episode thriller with sex, murder, action all played out through young and engaging characters.
